With spring here, I am enjoying the warmer weather and God’s beautiful creation! Hence, a creation poem:
CREATION CELEBRATES
The wind dances with the trees,
as the shade is pulled over heaven’s light.
Clouds spill rain, clearing the air
and watering the earth.
Flowers and trees drink deep of life.
Birds and squirrels wait high in trees,
while deer and other four-legged creatures
watch from below, waiting for
the bow of color to signal the end of the storm.
Then they drink from pools
left as presents for little boys
whose great delight is jumping in puddles
after they’ve tasted raindrops on their tongues.
The rain has come, and soon the sun
will dry feathers, fur and ground
as all Creation celebrates life.
